イエス様こそが私たちの内に良い実を実らせてくださる「根」です。私たちは「枝」として、しっかりとイエス様につながっていなかればなりません。そして良い木は、もっと実を実らせるために、「刈り込み」をされなければなりません。
Jesus is the
“root” who produces good fruit in us. We are the “branches” who must be
connected with Jesus. And a good tree must be “pruned” to bear more fruit.

私たち一人一人には「使命」が与えられています。私たち教会にも「使命」が与えられています。私たちは、イエス様と歩みを共にした弟子たちと同じように、恐れがあります。そんな使命にはふさわしくないと感じる時もあるでしょう。しかし、聖霊様が共におられ、使命を実践できるように、「力」を注いでくださいます。
Each of us has a
mission in life. The Church has a mission too. We have the same fear as the
disciples. We are not really ready sometimes. But the Holy Spirit is with us
and empowers us so that we can accomplish His mission.
