神の契約の箱がエルサレムに運ばれてきた。それを喜んで、ダビデ王が、人目もはばからず、飛んだり跳ねたりして、ダンスしている図を想像してみてください。ダビデの賛美の表現を見て、批判的になりたくなる気持ちはちょっと抑えて、もう少し広く大きな目で、身体（肉体）を伴った賛美と礼拝のあり方を、聖書から見てみたいと思います。聖書は、私たちがこれまで慣れ親しんできた礼拝のあり方よりも、身体(肉体)を伴った礼拝のあり方、というものを励まし、容認し、教えているのでしょうか？
Imagine that the ark is carried in
procession to the permanent site in Jerusalem, and King David is rejoicing and
leaping and dancing! Before we get too critical for David’s expression of
praise, we ought to take a second look at the biblical evidence for praise and
worship that have a strong physical dimension. Does the Bible support or permit
a more physical kind of worship that we, in our upbringing, may have been used
to?

今日、巷では、「愛」 という言葉が あまりにも陳腐な言葉になってしまっているかもしれません。不倫が大人の恋愛として美化されたり、もてはやされたこともありました。たとえ誰かがそこで深く傷ついていたとしても、自分の内に起こってくる衝動的な情熱に身を任せて生きることが、本当の愛だと勘違いしているのです。どうやら、「愛」という言葉を使いながらも、それぞれ違う意味で定義して使うことがあるようなのです。聖書の教える「愛」とは、どういう愛なのでしょうか？
Nowadays, the
word of “love” may have become cheap. Infidelity had been glamourized as a love
for adults. They misunderstand that even if someone is hurt deeply, relying on
their impulsive passion is the real love. Though we use the word of “love,”
each person may be defining “love” with different meanings. What kind of love
is the Bible teaching us then?
